At The Birdsong Camp, adventure awaits just outside your doorstep. The camp lives up to its name. Picture yourself relaxing on a lounger in the completely private enclosure whilst the birds serenade you.

The adventure begins on arrival at Chigborough, when you'll pick up your keys, drop your belongings into wheelbarrows, and wind through the plush forest and lakes to find your camp in its secluded and private clearing.

Nestled amidst the tranquil beauty of the countryside, yet within easy reach of the lakes and communal facilities, Birdsong camp offers a harmonious blend of outdoor adventure and serene relaxation. Perfect for families and couples alike, unwind and listen to beautiful birdsong as you relax in your private hot tub and garden.

Inside the safari tent, you'll find two bedrooms - a King size bed and triple single bunk beds. There is country styled cosy snug with a gas fire and a fully equipped rustic kitchen.

Outside, there's a table to gather around, a kadaii bbq bowl (with logs), seating and loungers.

The Welcome hamper includes Chigborough smoked cheese, biscuits, mini Tiptree chutneys, Hot chocolate and Marshmallows for toasting around the fire.

Birdsong Camp has private toilet and shower facilities approx 30m from the tent. The private path leading to the facilities is lit by sensor activated lanterns.

Beyond the immediate surroundings of Birdsong Camp, there are plenty of activities to keep you entertained. You can row around the lake, rent bikes to explore the area, indulge in a relaxing massage or yoga session provided on-site or get creative in the pottery painting studio. A visit to The Farm Cafe (Thursday- Sunday) is highly recommended. For a longer adventure, you can venture along the Blackwater Estuary, reach the sea wall, or visit the quaint and quiet town of Maldon. If you're a seafood lover, you can head to Mersea Island, known for its excellent seafood restaurants.
