Firebowls are available to hire, we would recommended doing this in advance when making your booking as we only do one firebowl delivery per day. BBQ’s and Campfires can be brought along with you, as long as they are off the ground. Logs can also be pre-ordered. If more logs are needed after your arrival, they can be purchased from The Farm Cafe.

Check in for Camping Pitches is 1pm. It is not possible to arrive at your pitch any earlier than the time given due to people leaving but you are more than welcome to arrive early to explore the lakes and campsite area. You are welcome to use the Fishery Lodge which has a kitchen and WC in. We have a lovely cafe on site.

There is an outside kitchen area with a fridge, sink, table and chairs, pizza oven and storage with cups and mugs in. Next door we have our games room which includes a pool table, table tennis, darts, sofas, a washing machine and you will also find the shower rooms and toilets.

You can pre buy wood whilst you are booking your stay but if you need more wood whilst here then you can purchase some more over at the Tearoom located in the courtyard. Both BBQ wood and pizza oven wood can be purchased.

The lake is unfortunately not suitable for swimming in however the River which is a short walk away is suitable. We have rowing boats and pedalos available to hire along with life jackets for £10 per hour per vessel. You may also bring your own canoes and kayaks, we charge £5 per vessel per day for this. Please fill in a lake disclaimer and post in the box in the games room with the money.

We welcome well behaved dogs, but we do ask that when walking your dogs around the lakes that they are on a lead and that all mess is cleared up responsibly. The Farm cafe is also dog friendly. Heybridge Basin is a lovely walk to do with your dogs, dogs are welcome in the pubs. From Hebridge Basin you can follow the seawall round to the Promenade park which is great fun for kids and a friendly area for dogs.
