Home Water Opened for Catfish Fishing in April 2025.

Home Water is home to the current UK record for the largest line caught fish.

Scar - 143lb is the second biggest Catfish in Home Water.

We are offering four swims on Home Water from the beginning of April until the end of October each year to Catfish Anglers who are using bait. Bookings will only be allowed in pairs (to ensure safe handling of the fish)

Fly Fishing Anglers may also target catfish during these months.

Single hooks only must be used and anglers must have adequate handling equipment and mats suitable for catches up to 150lb. You will need a net that is at least 40’’. Rods must be at least a 12 weight and line must have a minimum breaking strain of 40lb.

Bait fishing Anglers can book a 24 hour ticket (starting at mid day) for £50 each (2 anglers minimum)
